Glass in food container lid popped out of the frame

Description

I heated up my glass container with the lid on in the microwave, and turns out the food was too hot. The glass in the lid popped out of the frame, and I cannot put it back in. I already tried soaking it in warm water so that the frame can be more flexible, but it did not work because the frame is quite hard (it's like hard plastic). Please help!
